About this 5-Week Regional Cohort:

This 5-week Virtual regional course is geared toward faculty, staff and students. Participants learn how to use the Business Model Canvas and Strategize Canvas and assists entrepreneurial researchers engage in translating research from laboratory to market. 

About our Southeast Hub Regional Cohorts (General):

These programs are formal regional I-Corps course using NSF curriculum; They mirror national methods with regional scope. Completion often grants Nationals eligibility. Is 'lineage' for Nationals.

• Purpose:
  • To test value propositions and customer segments; prepare candidates for Nationals and other funding programs.
• Audience — A best fit for:
  • STEM researchers, early-stage founders and local entrepreneurs with a defined technology or service and commitment to structured commercialization training.
• Any Pre-Requisites Required?
  • N/A
  • Having some members on the team with experience conducting industry leader discovery interviews and deeper knowledge about market positioning is highly recommended.
