This is a Virtual series hosted by the Atlanta University Consortium (AUC): NSF I-Corps Short Course guiding researchers through customer discovery, problem validation, and commercialization planning, including pathways to SBIR/STTR, licensing, spin-out, and future NSF I-Corps Teams opportunities.

 

About our NSF Southeast Hub I-Corps Short Course Cohorts:

These is condensed training that introduces core Lean Startup and customer discovery concepts. It serves as an "On-ramp" to regional or national NSF I-Corps programs.

  • Purpose:
    • Expose teams to I-Corps mindset; test assumptions; guide readiness for longer courses or Nationals
  • Audience—A best fit for:
    • Early-stage teams or individuals (students, postdocs, faculty, entrepreneurs) with emerging ideas and minimal commercialization experience
  • Any Pre-Requisites Required?
    • N/A; Broadly delivered
    • Some knowledge or experience conducting discovery interviews may be helpful.
